A Boy Named Ethan

There once was a little, sweet, handsome boy named Ethan, and he was loved throughout the land...Thousands of people near and far knew of this most amazing boy, day and night they would speak of him, pray for him, and love him most of all.  Many had never met him face to face, but their hearts and souls were better because of him and the story he had to tell.  He had an undeniable gift from God, a gift that forever would change many lives for years to come...

A very wise man once said that the eyes are the window to the soul, and I believe this to be true.  Looking into Ethan's pure blue eyes you see a kind, funny, gentle, sweet, loving, pleasing, pure, innocent, strong, brave, generous, honest, beautiful, wise beyond his years soul...

In 2009 Ethan was called to battle against the dreadful, evil beast called Cancer.  Although it was probably scary, and confusing, especially for a boy his age, he bravely faced that beast and fought with all his might...

For two years this valiant and courageous soldier fought...in the end, on August 8, 2011 at 1:58pm Cancer took his life here on earth.  However, the battle was won by Ethan, because what Cancer didn't know is, Ethan still lives!  He will live forever in the hearts and souls of the ones who love him, but even better than that to know this very moment Ethan is walking side by side with his heavenly Father, Jesus.
One day, Ethan and his family will be together again, until then please keep them in your prayers, his amazing parents are Chris and Kim Jostad, you can follow Ethan's story on Facebook here→Team Ethan and on CaringBrindge.org here→Team Ethan
Here is a lovely tribute to Ethan on YouTube→Ethan

Mother to Mother, I want to say that Kim is an amazing, strong, beautiful woman and my heart aches for her now.  You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers Kim, I will stand on the scripture, "Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5
You will rejoice again...
Dear Lord, I lift up Ethan's parents Chris and Kim, his brother and sister, and his entire family.  Comfort them, draw them near to you, bring them peace, and surround them with your undeniable presence♥
"And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall no longer be any death; there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." - Revelations 21:4
In Jesus name, Amen...
