Here's a rundown of what's been going on in my life this summer:
First of all, the sweet little turkeys have gone from this
to this:
Yep, its official, they really are turkeys:) Ugly? Well, some say so:) Sweet? Yes! So, so sweet! I ♥ these dern turkeys!
Living on 18+ acres has kept us very busy this summer. Never a dull moment, feeding, watering, mowing, weed eating, cleaning, and so much more!
Not to mention the other stuff we have goin', like 4-H...
The piggies went from this
To this:
Austin's weighed 275 lbs
and Abbie's weighed 246
They both did great at fair, and I'm so, so proud!
We get to ride the horses a little more than before, which is so nice and we're looking forward to making that more of a priority. Abbie is going to do horse 4-H next year, rather than a pig:)
After fair we had a week then we went to a family reunion, which was a weekend of camping on the Oregon coast. Fun, but always an adventure when you mix us with any sort of vacation. Whether 2 days or 2 weeks, it doesn't matter, something always goes Griswold...
As soon as we got home from camping, Bubba started football and before you know it school will be starting:(
The summer is flying by way too fast, and I'm not ready for it to end.
