Yummy Bon-Bon Recipe

Every year I try make gift baskets for our parents. There are a few things that  I always try to include, our famous honey-butter and bon-bon's!
So, I thought I'd share the Bon-Bon recipe that I use, its easy breezy and kid friendly too!

Ingredients:
2 cups peanut butter

3/4 cup butter

4 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

3 cups crispy rice cereal

6 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped (I have also used chocolate chips, and added a small bit of baking wax, and it works great!)

Toothpicks (to dip mixture into chocolate)

                                                                               Directions:

1.  In a medium saucepan, melt together the peanut butter and butter, stirring occasionally until warm and smooth. In a large bowl, stir together the confectioners' sugar and rice cereal; pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal mixture and use your hands to blend well. Roll tablespoonfuls of the mixture into balls and chill.

2  .In the microwave or in a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, melt chocolate chips, stirring frequently until smooth. Dip the peanut butter balls into the chocolate using a toothpick. Place onto waxed paper to set.

This recipe makes about 100 Bon-Bon's!
♥Enjoy & Merry Christmas Everyone♥

"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”"
